I went to Bermuda on the NCL Jewel & was seasick for 2 days. I'll talk to my husband about it & if we decide to book, I will definitely contact you. I appreciate your help.

@@kaylam1743 I feel you on being seasick. I was the same way when we departed from Sweden to head to Iceland last summer. The North Sea did not like me! I will say that the newer ships have more stabilization than the older ones, which is good. I hope you are able to celebrate your anniversary onboard a ship together!

Sorry for the delayed response; I didn't get a notification about your question. There was no noise coming from Deck 5 or anywhere else around us. The only minor inconvenience was that our room was next to the stateroom attendant's storage closet. Sometimes, when I opened the door, I'd jump because he was standing right there, accessing cleaning supplies and towels. 🤣 ~ But I do jump easy. He wasn't noisy or disruptive; I just wasn't expecting to enter the hallway to someone right beside our door. The view from this room was one of the better ones, even with the obstructed view, I do recommend this location. Hi Ken, Sorry about the delayed response. I didn’t receive a notification about your comment. This room is the entry category at 365 ft.² (including the verandah) and they go up from there. As an example the Wintergarden Suite 1186 ft.² the inside space of the Suite is 989 ft.² and the verandah is 197 ft.². So there are many rooms that will accommodate your needs and provide more space for you. Hey there! Thanks for reaching out with such a great question! I’m sorry to hear your Celebrity cruise was very noisy. I did find that on the Millennium class of Celebrity ships but I didn’t find it with my stateroom location on Edge. I’m sorry that you had a poor experience. During our entire ten-day journey, we were pleasantly surprised by how soundproof our suites were - not a single peep from above or below. The suite soundproofing really was enjoyable. We couldn't hear a soul in the halls, and the overall experience was incredibly serene. In fact, the soundproofing was so great that we're suggesting adding doorbells to each suite in our post-cruise survey. Our suite host attendant's knocks and even the arrival of our food deliveries were barely audible. The rooms are top-notch in terms of sound insulation! Also, the voyage itself was as smooth as can be. We didn't feel a thing when the ship docked, and even leaving Barbados was a breeze - we only noticed because we had the blinds open and could see the land getting further away. 😂 Stay tuned to my channel as I will be uploading more room tours soon, highlighting at least four different suite categories. Thank you Scott! The water was so clear when snorkelling in Silfra! Super cold as it was Glacier run off, but so clear and tasted so delicious!

Yes, the table and chairs are included in the base price. I found that they had the most inclusions out of all the companies I looked at. The only extra cost is an extra propane for the stove, but they refund that as long as the seal was not broken. I did get that so that we were sure we had enough propane for cooking. But, it was refunded because we did not use it.

It is great to have the option of cruising so close to home!

You will have a ton of activities to do on board. Depending on your ship you can enjoy the Aqua Park (waterslides) or you can visit the Sports Complex or even walk The Plank, which extends 8 feet over the side of the ship. You can also visit the video arcade on Prima and Viva there is an area called "The Galaxy Pavilion" and it has so many video arcade games, virtual reality games and simulators, you could spend hours in that area! It is phenomenal. There is also an escape room in this area. On many of the ships there is the Vibe Beach Club, which is an all-adult space. On some ships there are go-carts. There are also game shows - which are a lot of fun! In the evening there is Broadway style shows. As for classes, as an example I enjoyed salsa dance lessons and on NCL Getaway we had a variety of classes for example: Origami, Beaded Badanas, Napkin Folding, Balloon Flowers and more! @@PlentyofSunshineTravel thank you for responding to my question. My ship is the NCL Sun. It's an older ship and i reviewing tons of youtube video on about the ship I do not see much and our cruise is the french Polynesian cruise. your video is the only video that touches on this particular route.

Yes, it was not an actual candle with a flame. It was one of the battery operated imitation candles.

I agree. I know my personal preference. However, every person has their own travelling style - and there is a cruise line for each person. It is great that there are options for everyone.

While I agree with you in principle, I feel that since the seven pools are a good size, they will hold many passengers. They will not have a massive amount of people crowding around them at one time because there are so many other activities to do on board so not everyone will end up sitting around a pool. I was on a ship this summer that had 3500 passengers and one pool. So, while I agree that seven does seem like a low number, I think that it will be okay. I believe also Eric mentioned that they have the highest amount of water onboard that they can legally have to keep the ship afloat. They may not have had the option to add more pools. However, I will come back and update you after I have had a chance to sail on Icon of the Seas.
